When a lady was in the bathroom, her boyfriend's cat decided to bring her a live mouse, which shocked her.

Elin Dafydd told her followers on TikTok that after witnessing her spouse with the pet of this little rodent, she vowed to “never have a cat”.

She posted this amazing encounter on the social media platform under the name Elind20 on the social media platform, and the video has been viewed more than 750,000 times.

Next to the video, Duffy explained that she first started filming the video after spotting the cat trying to pass through the small rectangular bathroom window.

"I just wanted to make a funny video of her squeezing in through the window," she told a follower.

As the clip shows, when she jumped into the room, she quickly found something in the cat's mouth.

"I was going to the bathroom at the time and my boyfriend's cat decided to bring a live mouse in," the headline reads.

The cat walked to Duffy, who was dumbfounded, put the mouse on the bathroom mat, and then grabbed the injured animal with its paws several times, apparently playing with it.

Duffy said that this incident left her "traumatic." She also confirmed that the mouse later died in a development, which "consolidated" her decision to "never raise a cat" on the grounds that she "cannot deal with them to kill."

However, although this encounter may have prevented her from owning a pet cat, this video has elicited more and different reactions on the Internet.

Nicole Cosgrove from the Pet Keen website recommends a few steps to help reduce the number of dead mice that your cat drags in. "Place a bell on your cat's neck and it will warn the prey when your cat comes," she wrote. "It basically eliminates one of your cat's greatest weapons: stealth."

"If you still want your cat to enjoy time outdoors, but want to prevent the capture and killing of animals, please limit their time outdoors," she added.

She also recommends avoiding bird boxes that attract birds and rodents into your garden, and urges cat owners to play more with their pets. She explained: "It may just catch mice and other animals for entertainment." "If you play with your cat more, it can satisfy the cat's desire to go out and chase things."

Or, she suggests that there are ways to train your cat to stop this behavior. "When your feline friend brings you a dead mouse, thank it and give it a catnip toy, and then dispose of the dead mouse when your cat is distracted," she said. "In the end, your cat may choose to bring you catnip toys instead of dead mouse toys."
