Hannah’s House: Brendan Strikes Back-Castleton Sparta

So... the news on the street is that someone has been criticizing my way of life.

Gone are the days when I might accidentally leave a wet towel on the bed without being stared at by death.

Gone are the days when I could throw my clothes on the floor of my bedroom. As long as I have an easy way to go to bed, I will be ready.

Last but not least, when I returned home from a day's work, my beautiful, luxurious and super comfortable recliner was open, and the days of desperately waiting for me to sit on it were gone.

Unfortunately for me, Hannah always goes home before me. If she wasn't in my chair, Humphrey would be there.

In May of this year, I started my most recent journey-independence. AKA rent, electricity, cat food, grocery shopping, scooping trash bins and cleaning the bathroom every weekend.

It is true. But I know I can't do it without Hannah.

If it were not for her interior design skills and cleanliness, the entire trailer home would be hindered. I load towels every day because they sit on the bed all day and they are wet and smelly, and the trailer will not be so "bright", no matter what that means.

In addition, I am really bad at cooking. I can do it, but there are usually nine disasters, and it takes about 40 minutes to cook a normal burger.

Hannah is a professional player. I am very grateful that she is the chef at home. This is why I acted generously as a waiter.

But having said that, I certainly have my own complaints.

Hannah firmly believes that "atmosphere" is more important than my comfort and convenience in life.

I couldn't hear her complaining about how "ugly" my chair was for a day, even though she kept sitting in it. I cannot leave the deodorant on the dressing table in the living room, so I can use it quickly and easily before going to work. And of course I can’t get TV tables because they look terrible when sitting in the house.

Then, when the food crumbs fell on my beard, she continued to laugh at me, because when we had a "chair meal", I was forced to eat on my knees-in our words, this meal did not So messy that we have to sit at the table.

Then came the fiasco of the entire dresser. We went to Connecticut for a quick family visit. Now Hannah and I like to be frugal, so I take her there for the best. Of course, she found this perfect, once-in-a-lifetime dressing table for $40. When she decided she *needed* it, we had already left the store.

Of course, this happened during the new crown pneumonia epidemic, so in order to get back inside the store, we had to line up...outside...in the rain...let the store’s occupancy limit drop. When Hannah and I were next in line, only one person left the store, so Hannah went in to get the dresser without me, while I continued to stand in the rain.

Most importantly, this is a trip to CT, where we will bring my recliner and paddle board, and a fairly large TV. So now I have to figure out how to pack the dressing table into the truck.

Since the dressing table is very suitable for "resonance", we managed to restore it to its original state. We only need to redo everything on the truck floor four times to make it all fit.

I can say that she refuses to put a trash can in our bedroom, so I don’t often find many contacts on the floor (I guess the trash can in the bedroom is a serious "resonance" violation), or how I found her Inside and outside of her sweatshirt, her shirt is still wrapped around the house, and even our house can only have gold and silver...but I will save you the trouble.

Overall, this is a very interesting journey. Of course, we can make each other nervous, but if we don’t, it will be abnormal. After all, I wouldn't be more satisfied with anyone else-even if she was singing a screaming show tune in the car.

Just know this... No matter how much she complains about that recliner, please understand that deep in her heart, deep in her soul, she likes it. Comfort will always overcome "resonance."
