I was fed up with my cat’s ugly litter box, so I modified it with IKEA specials for $50-you won’t know where it is

A lady upgraded her litter box-you can't even tell it's already in the room.

Annika Hinds is a proud queen of thrift and DIY, and she also shared how to do this.

On social media, she showed her cat exposed in the litter box next to her desk.

"For a long time, I have wanted to upgrade this litter box to a litter box that doesn't look like a litter box. It is useful for my cat while being more cautious," she said.

Then she explained how she bought a $50 storage stool from IKEA.

However, when she built it, she exposed one side, which would be the entrance to the trash can.

"The good thing about this piece is that you can decide which side you want to open, or you can decide based on your space and placement," she explained.

"It also has a detachable top that can easily touch the trash."

After the construction was completed, she realized that her litter box was a bit too big for the space, so she began to cut off the edges.

To protect her cat from hurting herself when she jumped in, she bought a rubber window sill protector.

It has an adhesive on the back, which she can easily stick to the trash can to seal the edges.

"The result is perfect, it suits my decoration, you never know it's a trash can," she concluded in the video.

Many people applauded the DIY-er in the comment area, and some even suggested covering the interior with waterproof pads to protect the furniture itself.

Would you spend $50 to make your litter box more attractive?
