The comic Jason Manford built a toilet for his cat in his kitchen, which caused the stench.

For a year, the 40-year-old comedian and his wife Lucy have been the pampering owners of two ragdoll cats.

However, after he decided to find a carpenter to make a litter box for them in his cupboard, the problem started so that his cat could do it privately.

But his underfloor heating will cook stool-which means his kitchen smells bad every morning.

He said: "We got the cats in November last year. They are absolutely cute and I love them. These are domestic cats, so they won't go out.

"They are beautiful, but that means you obviously put this garbage tray in the corner of the house.

"We found a joiner to build the garbage tray in the cabinet so that you can't see it, so you won't put this terrible plastic thing in the corner. This is the cat's little toilet.

"Our kitchen has underfloor heating, which is cute. But what I didn't realize is that using a garbage tray is basically just cooking cat feces!

"When I came down in the morning, I smelled it and said,'Oh, that's cooked cat poop!' It just bubbling there."

In addition to building private toilets for his cats, Jason only buys them the best cat litter that money can buy—£11.99 per box.

He said: "If you can't buy the best cat litter, what's the point of being on TV?"

Prior to this, Jason slammed the "seflish" Britons, who panicked to buy fuel in a now-deleted tweet.

The comedian could not risk driving home after performing in London.

Jason explained that he was worried that he might not be able to refuel on the way home. He wrote: "You can't risk driving home from London tonight, so stay here.

"Ten fingers intertwined, tomorrow people will wake up to selfishness! #doubt".
