Noodle is about 5 weeks old and knows how to use the litter box pretty well. He is currently in training and learns fast. Don’t underestimate this tiny kitten, he will soon be one of the best pets ever.

Sweet Copper was abandoned and now he’s looking for a forever home. This 1-year-old has been neutered, is used to pee pads, and has a clean bill of health. He’s friendly and chill, the perfect pup for a family.

Rosie gets along with anyone and everyone. She is on preventatives, spayed and the sweetest. Give her a chance and you will fall in love. She is open to stateside adoptions.

Stubs, a 3-month-old kitty, was found on Andersen Air Force Base. He has a clean bill of health and his rescuers are getting him adapted to the housecat life. He has no problem with the litter box, eats dry food and gets along well with his two foster sibling cats and bunnies.

Guam has a surplus of dogs and cats that need furever homes, and various organizations have stepped up to help fill that need.

Guahan Paws for Pets shows how to use lime dip to cure cat or dog mange.

One of those organizations is Guåhan Paws for Pets, which provides the PDN with photos of their Pets of the Week. The group works to “rescue, rehabilitate and restore animals in need.”

The nonprofit has adopted the Dededo dog park, and maintains the park and holds adoption events there.

This week we are featuring some adorable pets that Guåhan Paws for Pets rescued, but there are many more that need homes. To view all that are available for adoption, go to the group’s Facebook page @guahanpawsforpets.

The group requires a home check to ensure the home is safe. Potential owners are required to sign an adoption contract and pay a fee of $75 for puppies or kittens and $125 for adult animals.

The fees are used to provide medical attention, food and the animals’ other needs.

To inquire about adopting a pet, email guahanpaws4pets@gmail.com.
